There is a stretch of sewer line with manholes that runs along the bay shore West of Michigan and south of 16th St. Sewage should be rerouted away from the bay’s edge. Untreated sewage has discharged from the manhole on numerous occasions, including over several days after Hurricane Michael.

This project would result in a cleaner bay, with less chance of costly environmental violations by the City.
